The very young Belgian race car driver Maxime Hodencq (born in Bruxelles on March 17 ,1987) has just signed on with GP Racing. In the 2004 season, Maxime will get behind the wheel of the Lola for the Superfund Euro 3000 series.

Maxime had replaced Roman Rusinov during the last two races in Jerez and Cagliari last season. Although he hadn't reached the finish line, the team managers got a good impression of him and appreciated his technical maturity. GP Racing was able to see all of Hodencq improvements (both physical and technical) during last December's test session in Misano. Although he didn't know the track, Maxime was able to constantly lower his time with the used tyres and didn't make any mistakes.

Tancredi Pagiaro, Team Manager

"Maxime has talent . He learns fast and wants to do well. With the help of our advice, he has worked on his physical condition during the winter months. In fact, in this category you need to be in top-top shape. Maxime knows he shouldn't be in a hurry. He's only 17 and he has time to grow up.A difficult season awaits him, but I hope it will be full of success."

Maxime Hodencq

"I'm very happy to say the least. Thanks to the team's faith and that of my sponsors, I am able to compete in this important championship. Above all, I'm very glad that I'll be working with such a professional, pasisonate and competent team. I can't wait to get on the track!"
