Matteo Meneghello is confirmed as the latest signing to the SUPERFUND Euro 3000 series as he takes up the second seat at the Euro 3000 Traini-Corse team.

The 23 year old from Padova, Italy joins the series from the Eurocup Formula Renault V6 series where he raced with Team AFC Motorsport.

The young Italian will drive for the Traini Corse team for the remaining three races of the championship starting with Zolder on Sunday 19th September. He will race alongside Austrian team mate Matthias Lauda who is currently lying tenth in the championship with six points.

Matteo Meneghello:

"I'm really grateful to the Euro 3000 Traini-Corse race team for giving me the opportunity to race in the SUPERFUND Euro 3000 series. It's particularly special for me to have the chance to race at circuits such as Zolder and Cagliari and I'm looking forward to proving myself to the team."
