Dedicated to the young drivers to invest in the future of motor racing and to promote the Euro 3000 Series.
On 23rd November 2002, on the Roman track of Vallelunga it has been effectuated a Promotional Test that the International Promotions and the E.S.T.A. (Euro Series Team Association) wanted to organize for the young drivers coming from over the world and from various categories.
The target of this test day, completely free for the drivers, was to permit the drivers to try a F.3000 car and the power of the 500 ph of this car promoting as much as possible the Euro 3000 Series.
This event involved the teams that took part to the championship Euro 3000 Series, season 2002, and Mr. Corbari and it has been demonstrated a unusual and valuable unity of the teams to make this test possible and to support the high costs required by this test.
All the Lola B99/50 cars (one for each team) tested with the same set-up and no lap times had been taken because the target of this test was to promote the Series and there wasn't any intention to create a competition between the 38 drivers.
A particular thanks to the Team Ghinzani that, came just for the test, worked until late night to adapt the driver position to the driver Filipe Silva whose physical shape, in a previous occasion, didn't permit him to test with a F.Nissan car because he could not arrange a possible and acceptable position in the cockpit.
Drivers from 12 Nations:
12 from Italy, 11 from Brazil, 2 from England, 2 from Portugal, 2 from France, 2 from Holland, 2 from Belgium, 2 from Germany, 1 from Russian, 1from Finland, 1 from Sweden, 1 from America.
The teams that participated making this free test possible:
