Brazilian talented Augusto Farfus emerged the winner of a fascinating and furious-paced "GP Lotteria" today, making him the driver to start the season with two straight victories. 4 podiums, 3 straight poles, 2 wins and 3 fastest laps is just a little of what Augusto is able to, thanks to his driving skills, mental and physical preparation and his strong will to take more and more.

At the green lights Nelson switches the engine off and the re-start procedure begins. At the restart poleman Augusto maintains his first position by increasing his advantage gap lap by lap. By running a superb race and setting an unbelievable series of quickest lap (he was the only driver to race under 1:42.00) Augusto managed to cross the finish line just over 8 seconds ahead of second finished Matteo Grassotto. With the 10 points gained today Augusto is the actual LEADER of the Driver's classification (30 points) and Team Draco leads now the Team classification.

Team mate Sven Heidfeld had a misfortune race day by finishing his 4th ever round in F3000 with his rear completely damaged. At the second start he switched his Zytek off and regained the race just some minutes later dropping from 8th to 9th position. Sven was anyway able to set very quick times in order to gain a best 7th place before Romain Rusinov hit him the first chicane, at lap 16. With his rear badly damaged Sven was forced to enter the box and finish his strong race.

Sven Heidfeld (car #7) -- DNF "At the 2nd start I made a mistake: from red to green lights it took a very short time so I switched my engine off and I regained the race some minutes later. Then, with a very strong rhythm I made some quick lap times but Rusinov hit me at the fisrt chicane and I was forced to enter the box with my car bad damaged and finish my race".

Augusto Farfus Junior (car #8) -- P1, WINNER "I'm delighted! This is my second win this season. With my team I have made a great job during all the weekend. I hope I can go on in this direction and achieve other successful results with my team".
