A thrilling 2005 season nears its climax this weekend as Formula 3000 Pro Series heads to Adria for Round 7 of the 8-round Championship.

Renato Melchioretto (Team Principal)
"After a very disappointing race in Germany we are the upcoming weekend confident and with new motivation. We have been competitive throughout the whole season, but if you want to finish first, you have to finish first. Anyway, Norbert is still in a very good position to win the title and I am also optimistic that Fausto can make a big step forward."

Fausto Ippoliti (Car Nr.6)
"We can only hope, that some drivers have finally realised that they cannot win races in the first corner. Adria should be a good place for me, as I was on top of the timesheets in our last test in spring, so our main focus is to work out a perfect setup and go for it."

Norbert Siedler (Car Nr.7)
"Adria is not a drivers circuit like Spa or Mugello but that doesn't mean, it's an easy challenge. As there are only 2nd gear corners except one, the important factors are braking and accelerating. However, I am looking forward to it and I want to win."

With two races to go (Adria 24.09 and Monza 09.10.) Norbert is leading the championship with 36 points ahead of Max Busnelli (31), Alessandro Bonetti (28) and Timo Lienemann (25). Fausto is currently in 8th place with 15 points under his belt.
