Waldemar Coronas couldn`t finished in the competition of Toronto, Canada, seventh race of the CART Toyota Atlantic series disputed in the street circuit of 1.755 miles.

Coronas was in nine position, when contact with Koster left him without a chance of continuing in the race.

After started in thirteen position, in the third lap of the race Waldemar hit Koster, driver of the Michael Shank Racing leaving both out immediately.

The winner was Michael Valiente of the Lynx Racing team who made the 35 laps in 44:50.056, followed by Jonathan Macri of the P-1 Racing team to 0.909 and Rocky Moran Jr of the Sigma Autosport to 1.598.

Michael Valiente is leading the championship with 94 points after seven races disputed, second Jon Fogarty with 75 and third Rocky Moran Jr with 73. Waldemar Coronas is eleventh with 38 points.

In the Nations Cups United Stated is in the front with 127 points, followed by Canada with 108 and by Mexico with 78. Argentina is fifth with the 38 points of Coronas.

After the race Coronas said: ¨The race was to short for me. I made a good start, I passed from thirteenth to ninth. In lap third I made a mistake and I hit Koster`s car. It`s a pity. The car was really good. I hope to finish in Cleveland¨

The next race of the CART Toyota Atlantic series will be in Cleveland, Ohio in the Marconi Grand Prix of Cleveland . After this race the category will be two weeks later in Trois Rivieres.
