It was always going to be tight time-wise for Graham Rahal. Having raced, and won, at Cleveland, Ohio this weekend he was due to make a quick turnaround to get from the US to the South of France ready for his inaugural GP2 test with DPR Direxiv.

He had to test on Tuesday so he could return to Indianapolis in time for the US Grand Prix this coming weekend, at which the 17-year-old is racing in a support event.

Unfortunately the weather at Atlanta, the airport the Rahals, Graham and his father Bobby, were connecting through, closed in and they were stuck in Georgia.

David Price said, "It's a real shame for Graham but we'll find another more appropriate date when he can test for us. In some ways it might work out well for him. Coming straight from two wins at Cleveland, we didn't want to add any undue pressure on him or lift his focus from his Champ Car Atlantic programme. We wish him luck at Indy."

Olivier Pla will now carry out the two day test, alongside Clivio Piccione, giving his hand and wrist their first workout behind the wheel since Monaco.
