JULY 20, 2000 - MONTREAL, QUEBEC - Canadian racing standout Marc-Antoine Camirand will be driving for World Speed Motorsports at the Player's Grand Prix of Trois Rivieres. Camirand currently competes in the US Formula 2000 Championship and is in the midst of a championship battle with Aaron Justus.

The young sensation will compete in both the Toyota Atlantic Championship and the US Formula 2000 Championship on the same weekend.

" I know the circuit very well and I have had a lot of success in Trois Rivieres during the past events here. I have a lot pressure because it is my home race."

After several weeks of negotiations, finally succeeded in carrying out his dream, driving in Formula Atlantic. Camirand will team up with fellow Quebec racing driver Jean-François Veilleux within the World Speed team.

Marc-Antoine will take part in tests at Shannonville this weekend, assisted by Player's driver consultant Richard Spénard.
