FIFTH PLACE FOR GRAHAM RAHAL IN PROVISIONAL QUALIFYING AT GRAND PRIX OF MONTERREY

Monterrey, Mexico, May 19, 2006 -- After topping the time sheet in the morning practice session, Mi-Jack Conquest Racing driver, Graham Rahal, was fifth fastest in provisional qualifying today for the Atlantic race at the Tecate Grand Prix of Monterrey. Rahal registered a time of 1:25.73 on his final lap of the session.

The son of three-time Champ Car Champion Bobby Rahal is no stranger to the 2.104 mile road course at Fundidora Park, having raced there in the A1GP series last February. Rahal took over first place early in the session aboard his Gehl Company sponsored car but was unable to stay on top. However, he remained in the top five during the whole 30 minute qualifying session. "I'm a little disappointed with my qualifying run. We were quick this morning in practice and then during qualifying the car was not the same, especially once we put new tires on. I know the team will work hard to improve the car and I am confident that we will do better tomorrow."

The 17-year-old driver will be back on track tomorrow morning at 9:30 a.m. (Central Time) for another practice session before final qualifying at 1:15 p.m. (Central Time).
