U.S. FF2000 NATIONAL CHAMPION SIGNS WITH LYNX RACING

1995 U.S. Formula Ford 2000 National Champion Jeret Schroeder, of Vineland, N.J., has confimed he will compete in the 1996 Player's Ltd./Toyota Atlantic Championship with California-based Lynx Racing. Schroeder will drive a new Ralt RT-41 sponsored by Purity Farms of Salisbury, Md., Ireland Coffee-Tea, of Pleasantville, N.J.; and Lynx Racing. The car is owned by Schroeder's father, Bill.

By signing with Lynx Racing, headed by philanthropists and businesswomen Peggy Haas and Jackie Doty, the 26-year-old Schroeder becomes the latest recipient of the Lynx "Road Scholarship," a program in which young drivers with championship potential are given the equipment, experience, and training needed to make the jump into the top ranks of professional auto racing.

Schroeder won four U. S. Formula Ford 2000 races in 1995 including podium honors at New Hampshire International Speedway, Watkins Glen, Road Atlanta, and Mid-Ohio. His Lynx Racing-prepared Ralt RT41 will be painted predominately black and carry the No. 96, the same number as Schroeder's championship winning Formula Ford 2000 car that was prepared by Brendan Cunnane, of Lansdale, PA.
