NAZARETH, PA -- Specially priced children's tickets are now available for the 2001 Lehigh Valley Grand Prix presented by Toyota CART FedEx Championship Series race on Sunday, May 6th at Nazareth Speedway, announced Speedway President and General Manager Craig Rust.
Kids 12 and under can receive a ticket for the special price of $15 as long as at least one $50 full-priced adult ticket is purchased. There will be no limit to the number of $15 children's tickets that can be purchased as long as at least one $50 adult ticket is purchased for the race. These specially priced tickets will be available in rows 6-10 and the offer is not good on prior purchases.
"This offer will allow our CART race day to be more affordable for families," Rust said. "We will also continue to allow children 12 and under in for free on Friday and Saturday of CART weekend and on Saturday of both NASCAR weekends."
Tickets are available for the 2001 season at the speedway box office or by calling 1-888-629-7223 or 610-759-8800.
The Lehigh Valley Grand Prix presented by Toyota weekend begins Friday, May 4th with CART and Toyota Atlantic Series practice, and qualifying for the USAC Coors Light Silver Bullet Series race. Saturday will feature the USAC race, along with CART and Toyota Atlantic qualifying. The weekend will be highlighted by Sunday's CART and Toyota Atlantic races.
Two weeks later on May 19-20, the NASCAR Busch Series returns with the Service Electric 100 NASCAR Featherlite Modified Series for an action-packed doubleheader. The Chevy Silverado 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race and a NASCAR Busch North series event will take place August 25-26. As previously announced, the same children's $15 tickets will be available on Sundays of both NASCAR weekends.
