Formula Ford 1600 standout Alexandre Tagliani, of Lachenaie, Que., will make his Player's/Toyota Atlantic Championship debut at the Grand Prix of Miami, presented by Toyota, at Homestead Motorsports Complex, in Homestead, Fla., March 2, under the guidance of Bill Fickling's P-1 Racing.

A former Canadian karting and ice-skating star, Tagliani comes from Atlantic following success in last year's Esso Protec F1600 series where he finished fourth-place in the overall championship with one victory and three second-place runner-up honours for Rookie-of-the-Year recognition.

Tagliani will be behind the wheel of the No. 90 P-1 Racing prepared Ralt RT-41 with sponsorship from Agip, Auto Mondo, Cari-All, Logibec, and Plastifab.
