After successfully completing a thrilling first round Asian LMS organisers are looking forward to what promises to be a hotly contested weekend of racing at this world-renowned racetrack in the foothills of Mount Fuji. With a significant rise in number of entries, and the high-profile of motorsports in Japan, the series is taking very positive steps forward in promoting endurance racing in Asia, in only its first season.
Asian Le Mans Series Managing Director Mark Thomas: “We’re delighted to be having our second race at Fuji Speedway. It is a great facility and is matched by our very strong line-up. We are pleased with what we managed to achieve in Inje and everyone involved is looking forward to building upon that success. Given the popularity of SUPER GT, and motorsports in general, in Japan it's going to be a great weekend for the fans too.”
As well as Round 2 of the Asian LMS there will be racing from Lamborghini Super Trofeo, IP, 8 Beat, Freescale and Karting.
