Toledo, Ohio (May 16, 2007) -Justin Allgaier left the Kentucky Speedway closer to his goal to recapture the points lead in the 2007 ARCA RE/MAX Series championship race. Allgaier, who went to the Kentucky Speedway 95 points behind Frank Kimmel, left the speedway with a tenth place finish and now trails the eight-time series champion by just 30 points.

"We ran pretty decent in Kentucky," Allgaier said. "We ran between eighth and 12th all day. We had a pretty good qualifying run, starting 13th on the grid, but the track was much tighter in the race then it had been all day. We really struggled with that and we made the choice to change the spring rate on a pit stop hoping to loosen the car up. It was a pretty lengthy stop, but thankfully we only lost one position on the track. It was the right move to come in, change the tires and adjust the spring rate. The new tires really helped us bring home a tenth place finish."

Allgaier will head to the Toledo Speedway this weekend with the ARCA RE/MAX Series for Sunday's Hantz Group 200 where he has had much success. He has six previous starts with his best start of second coming in May of 2004 and his best finish of second scored in both September of 2004 and May of 2006.

"I love this track; it's a driver's track and really lends itself to some good racing," Allgaier said. "You can run a couple grooves, which can make for some exciting battles out there. You can run three-wide all the way around the track, which can be a little hairy but it is a lot of fun."

Allgaier and the rest of the ARCA RE/MAX Series drivers will take to the track Saturday, May 19th for practice from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM, qualifying follows at 3:30 PM. The Hantz Group 200 (200 laps / 100 miles) is slated to begin Sunday May 20th at 12:00 PM ET. Practice, qualifying and race updates will be available at www.ARCARacing.com.
