Toledo, Ohio (September 12, 2010) -- Robb Brent, driver of the Orchard Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram -- Dodge Charger in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Re/Max and Menards, overcame a melted sidewall bead that caused a flat tire in the early going of Sunday afternoon's feature event at Toledo Speedway to record a sixth-place finish.

Brent's seventh top-10 finish allows him to maintain the 10th position in the ARCA Racing Series point standings. With thee races remaining in the 2010 season, Brent trails fifth-place driver Justin Marks by 410 markers, and ninth-place contender Tim George Jr. by 85 points.

Weather wreaked havoc with the weekend's schedule, including putting an end to Saturday's sole practice shortly before the halfway point of the session. As heavy showers continued to fall throughout the afternoon, ARCA was forced to cancel qualifying for the second time in 2010, setting the starting lineup according to the rule book, placing the Allgaier Motorsports Dodge 11th on the starting grid.

The Shelby Township, Mich.-native battled just outside the top 10 in the early going of Sunday's event, until the first caution of the day came out at lap 40 when two cars got together in Turn 2. Brent was ultimately happy with the handling of his Dodge, despite experiencing a tight-handling condition off the corners. As the laps clicked off, Brent reported a vibration and that he had lost the handle of his No. 36 machine. Crew chief Dave Leiner, II told Brent to turn on the right front brake blower to help rectify the situation, however, on lap 71 Brent was forced to make an unscheduled green-flag pit stop for a flat right front Hoosier tire due to a melted bead caused by excessive brake heat.

Brent returned to the track some three laps down to the leaders. Brent reported to the crew that he was starting to feel another vibration. Fortunately for the Allgaier Motorsports team, they got the break they needed when the caution flag was displayed at lap 128, giving them the opportunity to come to pit road for fresh Hoosier Racing Tires and Sunoco Fuel. As Brent was in the "lucky dog" position, the first car scored laps down, the 23-year-old driver was awarded one of his laps back prior to the lap-128 restart.

Brent took advantage of his fresh tires when racing resumed at lap 133, advancing to the seventh position on lap 161 Despite being plagued by another vibration in the closing stages of the event, Brent made the most of his Orchard Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram -- Dodge Charger, crossing the finish line sixth when the checkered flag waved.

"It's unfortunate that we had that tire go flat," said Brent. "This Orchard Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Dodge Charger was awesome today. Dave (Leiner, II, crew chief) and the Allgaier Motorsports crew gave me a car that could have won had we not had the flat tire. I'm happy that we were able to come out of Toledo Speedway with a top 10 and with a car that doesn't have a scratch on it. I'm looking forward to Salem Speedway next weekend. I feel like we've got a chance to close out the season with a couple of strong finishes, so that's what we'll look to do in these next three races."

Next weekend, the ARCA Racing Series will head to Salem Speedway for the second time this year.
