He won the Casite Hard Charger Award for climbing 18 positions from his 21st starting position as well as the Klotz Halfway Leader Award for being in the lead at lap 100. "It was an awesome day for Team GLOCK. We had a top car, led the race and finished strong. The pit crew made a great key stop and it showed how well rounded our team can be. I have to thank Jeff for keeping me out of trouble throughout the race. All the guys at Spraker Racing and Team GLOCK were great," said Dexter.
Owner Jeff Spraker was pleased with the third place run and commented, "We have had top five equipment all year, but this is the first time this season that our finish has been indicative of that fact. We've had some bad luck up to this point, but that's all behind us now. We're looking forward to Pocono in two weeks and hope that we can capitalize on the success that we have had at that track in the past."
Stephanie Plumecocq, Director of Marketing at GLOCK, Inc. adds, "These are the finishes we know Dexter and Team Glock are capable of and we look forward to many more of them." th The next stop on the schedule for Team GLOCK Racing in the ARCA RE/MAX Series is the Pocono ARCA 200 on Saturday, June 7. Live timing and scoring will be available on arcaracing.com for the 1pm race in Long Pond, PA and will be televised on the SPEED Channel on June 7th at 10pm EST.
