No Luck for Brent at Talladega

Talladega, Alabama - (April 26, 2010) - After a great race at Texas, the Allgaier Motorsports team had high hopes heading into the Talladega ARCA 250. After Qualifying 21st the car came alive in drafting practice and jumped up to the second spot on the board. The plan was to stay out of trouble and be there in the end to challenge for the win but Brent never had a chance.

On lap 17 Brent radioed to the crew that he felt a vibration and before he even let go of the button the right front tire exploded. Going into turn one the car shot up to the wall and ended the day for the #36 team. "It was a hard hit and a bummer to be out of the race so early," Brent said. "I really wanted to get up there and have some fun but I just have terrible luck here for some reason." The ARCA Racing Series has a month off until Toledo Speedway where Brent made his ARCA debut back in 2006.

Washington Township, Michigan based Orchard Chrysler Dodge Jeep served as the primary sponsor on Brent's No. 36 Dodge Charger this past weekend. Go to www.orchardcdj.com for more information on new and used cars, parts and service.

Prior to joining Allgaier Motorsports, Brent participated in the ARCA Racing Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driving for NASCAR driver Brad Keselowski and Brad Keselowski Racing (BKR). In his 41 ARCA starts, Brent has acquired five top-five finishes and 13 top-10 efforts. Brent notched his career best qualifying effort of second at Kentucky Speedway in 2008. He has led the ARCA pack three times for 33 laps. His best finish in the NCWTS occurred at Nashville Superspeedway in his inaugural truck debut where he finished 21st after qualifying 26th.

The ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards heads to Toledo Speedway next for the Menards 200 presented by Federated Car Care on Sunday, May 23.
