TOLEDO OH (5-5-09) - After the superspeedway dust settles from Kentucky Speedway this weekend, the ARCA RE/MAX Series will turn its attention to Toledo Speedway short-track action Sunday afternoon, May 17 for the Menards 200 presented by Federated Car Care, the 65th appearance of the hometown touring series at Toledo since 1963.

The event is spread out over a three-day weekend that will also feature the season-opening K-100 for the ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series Saturday afternoon to accompany ARCA RE/MAX Series qualifying and practice. Action on the renowned half-mile paved oval initially blasts off Friday night with the Buckeye Sprints headliner plus the ARCA-sanctioned Sportsman division, Figure-8s and Factory Stocks. In addition, the 5th annual All Sport ARCA Fan Fest will accompany all three days of racing on the Speedway property. The All Sport ARCA Fan Fest has been designed as a family and fan friendly motorsports promotion allowing ARCA fans and their families to interact with ARCA officials, drivers, teams, crews, and sponsors at ARCA's hometown track. The Fan Fest, which will take place in the parking lot area directly in front of the Speedway, will offer free admission to the public. Fans will be required to purchase tickets to enter the speedway for the racing action.

NASCAR veterans' Ken Schrader and Paul Menard have already filed entries for the Menards 200 presented by Federated Car Care. Schrader, a four-time Toledo winner, hasn't won at Toledo since May of 2006. The Fenton, Missouri driver will make his 54th career series start since his ARCA debut at Daytona in 1981. Schrader has 15 career ARCA wins overall.

Menard, who drives the Schrock-Menards Yates Racing Ford in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, made five career ARCA starts in 2003 and 2004, winning at Talladega in '03. Menard is entered in the Johns Manville-Menards Ford for the Toledo event.

David Ragan is also scheduled to make the trip into Toledo for Sunday's show. The Roush Racing driver of the UPS Ford in the Sprint Cup Series, is coming in support of driver Chris Buescher, who is entered in Ragan's Roulo Brothers-prepared DavidRagan.com Ford. Ragan will not be driving this year, but he will be signing autographs during the on-track ARCA autograph session starting at 12 noon. Ragan, in 31 career ARCA starts, won once at Lanier, Georgia in 2005.

Other entrants include 9-time series champion and 9-time Toledo winner Frank Kimmel, entered in the Ansell-Menards Ford, and Penske Racing development driver Parker Kligerman. Kligerman, the 18-year-old rookie from Westport, Connecticut, is leading the championship points headed into the event this Saturday at Kentucky Speedway.

Eddie Sharp Racing has entered four teams: Justin Lofton (Westmorland, CA), Tim George, Jr. (New York, NY), Craig Goess (Greenville, NC) and Steve Arpin (Fort Frances, Ontario). All but Lofton are rookies on the tour. All four drivers are currently in the top-10 points.

ARCA RE/MAX Series practice is scheduled from 12:30 to 2:00 PM Saturday, May 16 with Menards Pole Qualifying presented by Ansell following at 3:30. The ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series K-100 is scheduled to start at 5:00 Saturday afternoon.
