Bowling for Bill
TOLEDO, Ohio (September 2, 2009)-Join ARCA in "Bowling for Bill," a charity fundraiser/bowling tournament on Thursday, September 3 from 7-9:30 p.m. at New Glass Bowl Lanes in Toledo, Ohio.
The event is designed to raise money for ARCA Chaplain Bill Krick of Focus Motorsports Ministries. Krick and his wife Diane travel to each ARCA RE/MAX Series race throughout the season, providing support and guidance to teams. Drivers from all ARCA sanctions will be in attendance, including the ARCA RE/MAX Series, ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series and Flat Rock and Toledo Speedways.

ARCA RE/MAX Series drivers are in Toledo in preparation for Friday's ARCA RE/MAX 200 presented by Belle Tire at Toledo Speedway, race 16 of the 21-race ARCA RE/MAX Series. Thursday's Bowling for Bill Fundraiser is open to the public. Cost is $10 per bowler. To register, contact Jackie Franzil at ARCA (419-574-2685/ firstname.lastname@example.org). Individual and group (groups of five) bowling sign-up is available.
The evening will include a raffle featuring various racing memorabilia courtesy of event sponsors New Glass Bowl Lanes, Mike Bridge, John Riddle, Mallory Ignitions, K&K Insurance, Harley Davidson, Toledo Speedway, David Ragan, Zeiler's Market and the Toledo Walleye Hockey Team. The grand prize, a 32 inch HD LCD TV complements of Aaron's, will be drawn on Friday night at Toledo Speedway during pre-race ceremonies for the ARCA RE/MAX 200 presented by Belle Tire.
