ANOTHER TOP TEN FINISH FOR MARKS AT SALEM

CONCORD, NC (9-17-07) After starting 18th and going down two laps at Salem Speedway Saturday night, Justin Marks, driver of the #65 Construct Corps Dodge, still managed to race smart and take home a ninth place finish.

"We just really struggled with forward bite all day," Justin Marks said. "We made some changes to the Construct Corps Dodge in practice that seemed to help a bit but we were just off all night. Racing is a competitive game and sometimes you just don't have the car you want. We just tried to make the most of the attrition and race smart all night which is exactly what we did. It was good to bring home a top-10 finish and I'm really proud of the effort that this crew put in."

After a rough first half of the season, this ninth place finish marks the sixth top-10 in a row for RAB Racing and Justin Marks. Although Marks still sits sixth in points, he has closed the gap to only 30 points between himself and the fifth place contender, Philip McGilton.

"It just continues to be pretty smooth sailing. I know how to finish these races now and I'm just trying to do the best I can. Even on days like Salem, no matter how bad you are, you can almost always contend for a top-10 if you're smart and know what you have to race with. Talladega is going to be the deciding factor on whether we can finish in the top-5 in points. It's such a crap shoot."

The ARCA RE/MAX Series takes two weeks off before heading to Talladega Superspeedway on October 5th for the ARCA RE/MAX 250. Crocs will be back on the #65 Dodge proudly displaying a bright pink paint scheme, devoted to finding a cure for Breast Cancer.

"We have a really good car for Talladega," Marks continued. "It's going to be one of the most competitive Talladega ARCA races in series history with the cup teams that are entered. We are going to test and try to work hard to bring the best car possible to the race and try to miss the wrecks. I'm excited about bringing a Crocs car dedicated to finding a cure for Breast Cancer and I think we have the potential to have a very good day."
