This Week's RCR Chevrolet at Rockingham ...Tim George Jr. will pilot chassis No. 120 from the Richard Childress Racing ARCA Racing Series stable in this weekend's American 200. This is the same chassis George drove to a 12th-place finish after starting 13th at Salem Speedway in September, an 18th-place finish after starting 17th at Pocono in July and a 10th-place finish at Pocono in June after starting eighth. Earlier this season, George finished 13th at Texas Motor Speedway with this Chevrolet. This chassis is a proven winner in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series with driver Kevin Harvick, who won at Phoenix and Loudon with this car in 2006.

Rockingham Stats ... Tim George Jr. has two previous starts at Rockingham Speedway, finishing 15th after starting 22nd in April, and 22nd after starting 29th in October of 2009.

Meet Tim ... Tim George Jr. will participate in an ARCA Racing Series Championship celebration as part of the City of Rockingham's ThunderFest on Thursday, Oct. 14 from 6:15 - 8 p.m. at Harrington Square (111 E. Washington Street) in downtown Rockingham. The event includes an autograph session and Q&A session with ARCA drivers.

Season Finale ... This weekend's American 200 marks the last of 20 races in the 2010 ARCA Racing Series. Heading into the event, George is ninth in the point standings.

TIM GEORGE JR.:

Heading into the last race of your second ARCA Racing Series season, do you feel like ARCA has been beneficial to your driving career? "ARCA has been helpful in my development, especially with RCR. My limited stock car experience has been challenged by a competitive group of drivers this year- more so than years past. There have been so many new winners in the series- I think that speaks to the level of competition. At the end of the day, however, I'm competing against myself."

What are your goals for the last race of the year? "I'm shooting to remain in the top 10 in points, and a top five or a win would be great!"
