Alli Owens Comments on Rockingham Speedway:

"I'm really excited about this weekend. This will be my first race with Venturini Motorsports. I've had some of my best finishes at Rockingham and the Venturinis have an incredible track record there. I can't think of a better place for us to kick off our relationship. I feel like this is going to be the start of something big.

"Although I've never run a race with the Venturinis, I have all the confidence that we can hit the ground running. I'm sure there will be a learning curve. Of course it takes time to develop the driver/crew chief chemistry, but I feel like their experience already puts us a step ahead of the competition. They know what it takes to run well at Rockingham and have top-notch equipment. We have all the elements in place to get a great finish and carry the momentum over into the 2010 season.

"Rockingham makes for good, old-fashioned racing. It has a rough surface that wears your tires down. That's when cars start sliding and it puts the handling in the driver's hands. You've got to drive with discipline to make your tires last. That's something that I've had lots of practice doing. When I raced the local tracks, I had to make a set of tires last for a few races. I know how to get the most out of them. My last two races here taught me the importance of being patient in the beginning stages of a run. If you take care of your Hoosiers early on, they'll take you a long way.

"This is the last race of our season. I want nothing more than to get our ElectrifyingCareers.com car in victory lane. I'm not points racing, so I've got nothing to lose. I'm going for the win. I'm going to take risks that I usually wouldn't. I want to end the year with a 'W' and this is my last chance, so I've got to make the most of it."
