"Hometown Hero Dominick Casola Looks For Third Straight Top-10 Finish At Pocono"

LONG POND, Pennsylvania (July 30, 2008) -- - It doesn't take a scientist to look at Dominick Casola's record at Pocono Raceway and see that the legendary 2.5-mile track has been good to him. And with the ARCA RE/MAX Series returning to the track for the final time this season, Casola is itching for his third straight top-10 finish there in Saturday's Pennsylvania 200.

And while a top-10 finish is great, for Casola, he's looking for more. One he is looking for his first top-five finish of the season and second, he's hoping take Win-Tron Racing to victory lane at his hometown track.

"Pocono Raceway has always been a good track for me," offered Casola, who resides just 90 miles from the Long Pond track. "My worst finish is 14th which came in my debut, since then I've had back-to-back eighth place runs. I know that this weekend we're plenty capable of securing our first top-five of the season and that's what I am after."

Casola added, "Pocono is not an easy place to race though. To help me with that I've played a lot on the ARCA SIM Factory game at Pocono and I believe that spending the time with the setup, practicing, qualifying and racing has been beneficial to me. Hopefully I can back up that statement on Saturday afternoon."

Coming off a strong 11th place run in last Saturday night's ARCA RE/MAX 200 at Berlin Raceway, Casola is in the second of a four race run behind the wheel of the No. 32 A. Casola Farms Dodge Charger. "We ran Berlin last weekend and were fast, now it's on to Pocono before returning to Nashville and then off to the dirt at Springfield. It's going to be a fun couple of races and I'm anxiously awaiting them. I'm just happy to be in the seat."

The former USAR Hooter's Pro Cup Series star credits his recent strong runs to his Minnesota-based Win-Tron Racing team. "The team has been everything I've asked for. We had a rough start together because of bad racing luck, but the chemistry has really come together and everyone is seeing the results," Casola added.

He continued, "Working with Mike Chaffee (crew chief) has developed me into a smarter racecar driver. He has taught me a lot about the cars which I think has been transferred back on the race track. We have a couple more races together this season and we surely want to make the best of them."Win-Tron Racing's Nate Thiesse offered on Casola's return to Pocono; "DC knows what he is doing here and we know what he wants in his Pocono car, so we should be quick right off the hauler. Dominick continues to learn each time he climbs into the racecar and is taking what he has learned and applied in during the race. We know that we're going to have a good weekend at Pocono and glad to have DC aboard."

Entering Pocono, Win-Tron Racing sits 15th in the ARCA RE/MAX Series owner's standings after 12 races. 75 credits separate car owner Kevin Cywinski from the 14th position held by Cathy Venturini (No. 25). The team rose two positions from their last outing at Berlin Raceway where Dominick Casola recorded his career-best Berlin finish of 11th.

Steering towards the Long Pond, Pennsylvania race track, Casola holds 23rd in the ARCA RE/MAX Series championship standings despite missing four events this season. Casola advanced one spot from 24th thanks to his respectable finish last Saturday night at Berlin. Casola has competed in eight of a possible 12 races thus far in 2008. Casola netted his best finish of the season at his home track of Pocono Raceway where the A. Casola Farms automobile crossed the start-finish line eighth in June. 340 markers separate Casola from reentering the top-20 currently locked by ARCA regular Bobby Gerhart.

A. Casola Farms, a family-owned business will sponsor Casola's No. 32 Dodge Charger this weekend at Pocono Raceway. Casola will make his 31st career ARCA start and his fourth start at the 2.5-mile triangle on Saturday afternoon
