Rob Bunker is looking forward to his first return engagement of the season. The Bridgewater, N.J., driver will compete in the ARCA REMAX Series race at Pocono Raceway on Saturday -- his second event on the 2.5-mile tri-oval track in Long Pond, Pa. Bunker will again drive the No. 4 Dodge Motorsports Dodge Charger prepared by Cunningham Motorsports. He hopes familiarity will breed success.

"This is the only track that we've been to twice, so with all that extra [track] time, we're kind of even with all the other drivers who've been there more than once," he said. "We know exactly where we need to gain speed and it's mostly in turn three. We can be a little more open with our setup and we can experiment with new things because the team and I have more faith in driving a neutral car and just letting it slide through the corner, rather than having to necessarily get a little bit loose [oversteer] or have a push [understeer].

"We're going to try some new setup things, get turn three down and that should put us right in the running for a top-three spot because we did really well last time we were there. If it wasn't for a blown tire, we would have been in the top-10."

Bunker will use a strategy that served him well in open-wheel racing -- walking the track at the start of the race weekend. He tried it during the last series race weekend, at Kentucky Speedway, and found it helped him get up to speed quickly. That's this weekend's goal.

"It's key to make sure that we go out and get right back on the ball," he stressed. "I need to be able to go as fast as I did last time, within the first session. I don't think that will be too tough. I've been reviewing some track notes and between them and the new track notes that we'll make, I'll be set to do well this weekend."
