Daytona Recap: ARCA RE/MAX Series rookie Phillip McGilton enters USA International Speedway following a career best event at Daytona International Speedway last month. After qualifying a career best 11th, McGilton soared to finish ninth, tying a previous best effort at Kansas Speedway in 2006.

Full Steam Ahead: Brewco Motorsports, a namesake in the NASCAR Busch Series recently announced the addition of McGilton to the team's driver development program for the full 2007 ARCA RE/MAX Series season. The organization has obtained the No. 47 owners points from last year locking them into the first four events of the 2007 season.

Inaugural Event: The Construct Corps-PBG 250 at USA International Speedway is a new venue for the ARCA RE/MAX Series this season. The addition of the event breaks up the normal two-month hiatus that the ARCA RE/MAX Series schedule has been accustomed to.

Welcome Aboard: SIPerformance will sponsor the No. 47 Ford Fusion this weekend at USA International Speedway. SI Performance is a mixture between a speed shop, off-road shop and a vehicle customization shop. SI Performance strives for their shop to exceed every expectation you might have for an automotive performance shop. SI Performance installs everything they sell, including quality products from WARN, Tera Manufacturing, Interco, Pit Bull, Holley, FK Rod Ends, Impact, Simpson, Demon, NOS and Banks.Leading The Way: In addition to running for the ARCA RE/MAX Series championship, McGilton is also running for Rookie-of-the-Year honors, which he currently leads the standings following his fabulous finish at Daytona. McGilton holds a two point lead over fellow competitor Michael McDowell, a four point break with Bryan Silas and a six point margin over Tim Russell who are all entered for USA International Speedway this weekend.

A Veteran Up Above: It's not a stranger that is guiding ARS (ARCA RE/MAX Series) driver Phillip McGilton this season. Veteran racecar driver and mentor Eric Jones is keeping McGilton aware of his surroundings as the team's spotter. Jones has been instrumental for the early success of McGilton's ARCA career.Brewco Motorsports, USA International Speedway Pre-Race Quotes:

Phillip McGilton, driver of the No. 47 SIPerformance Ford:

On Daytona: "It was a great feeling to kick off our 2007 ARCA RE/MAX Series season with a top-10 run. The entire team worked hard all week and we showed for it during the race. We avoided all the chaos in the event and we learned a lot. We'll definitely be stronger in the next restrictor plate event at Talladega Superspeedway (October) The run gives us some momentum heading into Lakeland this weekend."

On USA International Speedway: "Obviously it's great to be coming back to Florida. Our Brewco Motorsports team is excited about our chances for this weekend. I think we're going to have a really strong car and we should be a contender for the win. This is a new event for everyone, so it's anyone's trophy."

On Brewco Motorsports: "I am very proud to be associated with Brewco Motorsports Brewco has proven themselves as winners in both the NASCAR Busch Series and the ARCA RE/MAX Series. There's no doubt in my mind that we will have a successful program this year and we'll be in the mix for the championship when we head to Toledo Speedway in October."

On His Hunt For Rookie-of-the-Year: "I really want the Rookie-of-the-Year title. We've put all the resources into our program to come out every week and be the best. I'm surrounded by awesome and talented people and I couldn't ask for anything more. If anyone is writing us off their books, they may want to think again."
