The ARCA RE/MAX Series held ARCA SIM Factory time trials Saturday afternoon in preparation for tonight's Prairie Meadows 250. The session set the starting grid for this evening's event, the ninth of 23 events on the 2007 ARCA RE/MAX Series schedule.

MICHAEL ANNETT, NO. 32 TMC DODGE CHARGER
Starting Position: First

"What can I say? This is an awesome. It's an opportunity of a lifetime for myself and my sponsor TMC. The crew did a fantastic job all day long. The car was so smooth, it went anywhere I needed it to go. To come here in the ARCA RE/MAX Series and sit on the pole is a dream come true. I want to thank everyone who made this possible; we have a good chance of winning the race tonight."

DEXTER BEAN, NO. 6 FIVE STAR TELECOM CHEVROLET MONTE CARLO:
Starting Position: 17th

"It was okay. We started near the rear of the mid-pack last season and came to the front. We plan on doing it again. Our car is setup to run under the lights, so I anticipate our car to come from the back to the front tonight. It's going to be an exciting race."

DAN BRODE, NO. 48 TUCSON-FREEFEDS.org DODGE CHARGER
Starting Position: 25th

"I'm just glad to be in the show. My guys worked hard on the car all day long and we picked up a little speed from practice to qualifying and that's a good thing. We plan to take it easy during the race and bring it home in one piece. A top-20 finish is what we're looking for tonight. I want to learn, learn and learn tonight."

DOMINICK CASOLA, NO. 1 A. CASOLA FARMS FORD TAURUS:
Starting Position: 19th

NOTE: Casola spun coming the green flag in his No. 1 Ford Fusion, but kept his machine off the wall. He steered backwards towards pit road before turning his machine around and completing two cleanlaps.

"I'm going to take that. We have a good car, good horsepower. The car was real loose and I stepped on it and we went around. Good news is that we didn't hit anything and we're starting pretty solid. Hopefully we can have a good night and turn our luck around."

MIKE HARMON, NO. 38 EVOSHIELD CHEVROLET MONTE CARLO
Starting Position: 22

"We slowed up a little from practice, but a lot of people did. Our car is pretty stable, so I really can't complain. We just need to stay focused and finish the race. Toledo was a disaster, so we're hoping to make up for it tonight."

PHILLIP MCGILTON, NO. 47 SIPERFORMANCE FORD FUSION
Starting Position: Second

NOTE: This is Phillip McGilton's fifth straight race of qualifying inside the top-three. He was awarded an additional 10 points for his qualifying performance this afternoon.

"I was a little loose, but it was still a good lap. I really have to hand it to my crew; they did a good job all day long. We have a great racecar for tonight's race and I still think we have a shot at the win."

PATRICK SHELTRA, NO. 60 FLORAGRANICS-BRADY RANCH CHEVROLET
Starting Position: 15th

"We'll take that. We made some adjustments from practice and it worked. We need to have a good run under the lights. The last time we had a night race, we finished in the top-10. We're looking to do that again. I want to thank FloraGranics, Brady Ranch and my entire Premier Motorsports team for all their hard work today."

BRYAN SILAS, NO. 11 NORTRAX-SHELL ROTELLA T CHEVROLET MONTE CARLO
Starting Position: Eighth

NOTE: Silas tied his career best starting position today in his 15th career ARS start. Silas also started eighth last season at Berlin Raceway."I'm excited about the race. We have a good racecar. I'm really happy with everything this weekend. We found some speed in qualifying and that's what it's all about. Hopefully everything can continue to go smoothly and we'll have our third top-10 finish of the season later tonight."

BILLY TANNER, NO. 07 CHEAPCARIBBEAN.COM CHEVROLET MONTE CARLO
Starting Position: 37th

"We didn't make a qualifying attempt as we wanted to make sure our backup car is suitable for racing conditions tonight. We're lucky that there were enough open spots that we were able to put our No. 07 CheapCaribbean.com Chevrolet into the race. We just look to put on a spectacular show coming from the back the front."
