TANNERSVILLE PA ....The stars of the ARCA RE/MAX Series are coming to the first annual GIANT Food Stores Race Fan Festival at The Crossings. Drivers scheduled to appear include four-time ARCA RE/MAX Series driving champion Frank Kimmel, third-generation driver Jason Jarrett, Penndel, Pennsylvania driver Andy Belmont as well as Shelby Howard, Ron Cox, Brent Sherman and Christi Passmore. These drivers will participate in an autograph session scheduled Friday, June 6 from 7-9pm. Chad Little, a veteran of NASCAR's Busch and Winston Cup Series competition, and a FOX TV analyst, is also scheduled to appear on Friday for a one-hour autograph session starting at 5:00pm.

The GIANT Food Stores Race Fan Festival will be held at The Crossings Factory Stores from Wednesday, June 4 to Saturday, June 7th. The Fan Festival leads up to the GIANT Food Stores ARCA RE/MAX 200 on June 7th, and the June 8th Pocono 500, a NASCAR Winston Cup event, both to be held at the Pocono Raceway.

Kimmel is third on the all-time ARCA RE/MAX Series win list with 44 victories and is also the all-time leader in ARCA RE/MAX Series career earnings.

Jarrett, son of 1999 NASCAR Winston Cup champion Dale Jarrett and grandson of two-time NASCAR Grand National champion Ned Jarrett, was the 2001 ARCA RE/MAX Series Rookie of the Year and finished runner-up in points to Kimmel that same year. Jarrett also has one victory at Kansas Speedway in 2001.

Belmont has finished in the top-10 ARCA RE/MAX Series driver points in five consecutive seasons. Belmont is also a veteran of Winston Cup competition with his first start in 1989.

Howard, 17, became the youngest winner in ARCA RE/MAX Series history in April of 2003 when he held off Kimmel for the win at Salem Speedway. Howard finished 5th in championship point standings in 2002 as a rookie.

Cox, the '99 RE/MAX Series Rookie of the Year, had a career-best points finish of fourth in 2001 and posted a career-best finish of 4th at Pocono in 2002.

Up and coming ARCA drivers Brent Sherman and Christi Passmore are also scheduled to make an appearance. Sherman has already posted finishes of third at Nashville and fourth at Atlanta in 2003 while Passmore leads the ARCA Rookie points.

The four days of the GIANT Food Stores Race Fan Festival will feature displays, motorsports merchandise, show cars, entertainment, 0x00bc midget racing, radio controlled racing, simulators, raffles and prizes and appearances by racing celebrities. Admission and parking are free. A limited amount of display space is still available for the Fan Festival.
