Triad Racing Technologies Tops ARCA Qualifying at Daytona TRT Supplied Motors to Fastest Five Qualifiers

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Feb. 6, 2009) -- While the focus was on pole sitter Justin Lofton and his Eddie Sharp Racing team during today's ARCA RE/MAX Series qualifying session, a silent victory was won for another organization -- Triad Racing Technologies. TRT supplied Toyota engines for not just Lofton's pole winning entry machine but the entire top-five contingent of qualifiers.

"Our engine department has devoted the last three months of work specifically to our plate program," said Jon Dysinger, head engine builder for Triad Racing Technologies, "To sweep the top five in qualifying is a testament to how hard all the guys back at the shop have worked to prepare for this race."

Overall, TRT supplied motors to seven of the top-10 qualifiers.

"Having such a successful qualifying session at Daytona is a great way to start the season," continued Dysinger. "We look forward to seeing the Triad horsepower perform in tomorrow's race, but overall I believe we have a lot to look forward to as a company this race season."

TRT supplies motors to each of Eddie Sharp's ACRA Racing teams. It's a relationship that has complemented each other well over the last two years.

"We can really count on Jon and everyone at Triad to bring us some major steam to the plate tracks," said team owner Eddie Sharp. "Triad treats the ARCA engine program with the same dedication to excellence as a NASCAR Sprint Cup program."
