David Ragan To Pull Double Duty This Weekend in Kentucky

Sparta, Kentucky - - NASCAR young gun, David Ragan will again be behind the wheel of the No. 67 Fiddle Back Racing Ford F-150 this weekend in Kentucky. Ragan returns to the driver's seat for the first time since Texas Motor Speedway last month where he finished 20th in his first NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series start.

Fiddle Back Racing is currently enjoying its best finish of the year this past weekend in Kansas City with teammate, Kevin Love at the wheel. The team is looking for another big weekend in Kentucky.

Ragan has raced at Kentucky in the ARCA RE/MAX Series and feels he should be a top-ten contender. Ragan will also be competing in the ARCA race Friday night in the Palm Beach Grading, Mike Edge powered No. 88 owned by Bobby Jones.

"We qualified 12th for the race there in the spring and had some bad luck on the first lap. I am looking forward to competing in both the ARCA race and the Craftsman Truck race for Fiddle Back," stated Ragan.

The Fiddle Back Racing pit crew will be assisting Ragan in his ARCA effort with some over-the-wall pit-stop help Friday night.

The Kentucky 150 on 700 WLW Pole Night is the 12th of 22 events on the 2004 ARCA RE/MAX Series schedule. For the second week in a row, the teams will endure another one-day show. First round practice is on tap Friday morning with qualifying also on the agenda this Friday afternoon July 9th, with the race set to take the green flag that night. The Speed Channel will broadcast the race live, starting at 8:00pm EST.

The Built Ford Tough 225 is the 11th of 25 events on the 2004 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series schedule. Practice and qualifying are on the agenda this Friday, July 9th with the race set to take the green flag. Saturday, July 10th. The Speed Channel will air the event live beginning at 8:00 EST, with MRN handling the airwaves starting at 7:30 PM EST. The race (150 laps/225 miles) will also be available via XM radio channel 144 starting at 7:00 PM.
