O'QUINN TO RUN IN DAYTONA ARCA 200 WITH ROUSH, ROULO BROTHERS RACING
World Financial Group will sponsor O'Quinn's No. 39 ARCA Re/Max Entry
CONCORD, N.C. (February 8, 2006)- NASCAR Busch Series driver Danny O'Quinn, Jr. will run in the ARCA Re/Max Series race at Daytona International Speedway on Feb. 11 as a joint venture with Roush Racing and Roulo Brothers Racing.
O'Quinn will run the Daytona ARCA 200 in a No. 39 World Financial Group Ford Taurus fielded by Roulo Brothers Racing. The Ford is one from the Roush Racing stable and is one of Mark Martin's former Bud Shootout cars.
O'Quinn will run the ARCA race in order to get additional seat time at the 2.5 mile track and more experience in the draft, as he prepares for next weekend's NASCAR Busch Series Hershey's Kissables 300.
World Financial Group, along with its sister company Stonebridge Life Insurance Company, serves as primary sponsor on O'Quinn's No. 50 Ford Fusion in the NASCAR Busch Series this season, and makes the foray into the ARCA Re/Max Series with O'Quinn as an additional venture. World Financial Group did the same thing with Todd Kluever in 2005, when they sponsored his No. 60 entry in the ARCA Re/Max Series while serving as one of his primary sponsors in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
The Roulo Brothers are longtime ARCA Series and NASCAR competitors and have fielded cars for such drivers as Ken Schrader and Rich Bickle. In 2005, they fielded a car in six events for Roush driver Erik Darnell as a part of the Roush Racing Driver Development program.
Roush Racing is a subsidiary of Livonia, Mich., based Roush Enterprises which operates 13 motorsports teams; five in NASCAR Nextel Cup with drivers Mark Martin, Matt Kenseth, Jamie McMurray, Greg Biffle and Carl Edwards, six in the Busch Series with Martin, Kenseth, Biffle, Edwards, Todd Kluever and Danny O'Quinn, Jr. and two in the Craftsman Truck Series with Martin, David Ragan and Erik Darnell.
