Carter-2-Motorsports Announces Promotion In Time For Salem Battle
STATESVILLE, North Carolina (Thursday, April 19, 2007) - - Carter-2-Motorsports competing in its first season in the ARCA RE/MAX Series with rookie driver Nick Tucker announced today the proud promotion of Jonathan Sykes to car chief of the No. 48 FreeFeds.org Dodge Charger effectively immediately.
Sykes, nicknamed "Slim" by members of his Carter-2-Motorsports team is a two-year veteran with the Statesville, North Carolina based team. Sykes was promoted based upon his flawless dedication, extensive hard work and his attractive attitude which can be felt throughout the shop.
"We are very proud to promote Jonathan to this new position," said Carter-2-Motorsports owner Roger Carter II. "Jonathan fits the profile of a perfect employee. He works well with the rest of the C2M (Carter-2-Motorsports) team and is a leader for us all. I'm truly happy he's accepted the position and I know he'll only continue to show his winning traits for years to come."

Sykes's new position officially begins with Sunday's Kentuckiana Ford Dealers ARCA 200 by Federated Auto Parts, the first of two events at Salem Speedway this season. Sykes and the rest of the Carter-2-Motorsports team plan to lead Nick Tucker, a new neophyte to the ARCA RE/MAX Series to a career best finish in the fourth ARS event of the season.
