Chad Finley; 2010 ARCA Racing Series Announcement.
DeWitt, Michigan (Monday, March 8, 2010): The ARCA Racing Series Presented by RE/MAX and Menards got a small dose of 17-year-old Chad Finley during the 2009 racing season. One Pole Award, one Top Five finish, three Top 10 showings and all four starts resulted in at least a Top 15.
The DeWitt, Michigan teenager, who will turn 18 on March 17th and has already graduated from St. Johns High School in St. Johns, Michigan, will now be shifting all of his focus on the upcoming 2010 racing season and things are starting to come together for the Great Lakes State rising star.
His 2010 campaign begins on Tuesday, March 9th with a test at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas.
" I am really looking forward to getting the season started with the test at Texas on Tuesday I have been in Mooresville, North Carolina for a few days and have spent some time at the shop and got to talk to Brad and get some pointers on Texas. Hopefully we can pick up at the test where we left off at Rockingham Speedway last year"
Finley is slated to run 4 to 5 ARCA races beginning with the Rattlesnake 150 at the Texas Motor Speedway on April 16th with hopes of finding funding to run 8 to 10 total races.
He will pilot a Brad Keselowski Racing prepared Auto Value Certified Service Centers car.
"Everyone at BKR is looking forward to getting the year started and could not be more happy to have Chad driving our car. With what we accomplished last year with Chad we feel this year could be a big year for both BKR and Chad Finley" stated crew chief Wayne Setterington.
