Kirk McCarthy (No. 306 Ducati 748) "This morning, we changed some things and it wasn't going as strong. So we changed some stuff back around and put it back to where it was yesterday. I just went out there and tried to bang out some consistent laps and go as fast as I could. The race is Sunday though. I'm really happy. To be in the front two rows, I was going to be happy. The pole is a bonus that's for sure."

Shawn Higbee (No. 214 Buell) "We didn't turn as good of a lap as I was hoping for. I thought we would be in the 1:55s. We made only a few laps and we had to come in. WHAT WERE THE PROBLEMS "Like a random misfire. Some kind of electrical problem."

Mike Ciccotto (No. 13 Buell) "The bike is working good. We're having a little dilemma with tire choices as far as running the slicks or the (street tire). I went out this morning on (a street tire) front and rear and ran a 1:55.7, which would've put us on the pole easily. We decided to do a little gamble and try slicks on a different bike and it didn't work. We went back out with a (street tire) on the rear and the bike turned a lot better but we ran out of time in the session."

Dave Estok (No. 102 Buell) "My teammate and I were going to run together for the first half and come in and get some new rear tires and then do the second half together. I got out there and my bike sputtered. He got away from me and then his bike broke. I was by myself for half of the qualifying session. I came in and put on that rear tire and that made a huge difference and when I went out Mike Ciccotto was there and we hooked up together."
