Three of the six had never been to Sebring before, four of the six were driving the Prodrive Ferrari 550 GTS Maranello in anger for the first time, everyone was looking for ways to deal with the heat. At the end of the second day of testing, the Veloqx Prodrive Racing drivers all had plenty to say!

Kelvin Burt - car #80 (set fastest GTS lap time today with 2m 00.206)

"Yesterday I was learning the circuit and, to an extent, still doing that today. There are a lot of corners, some difficult, and of course it's very bumpy. I am happier today as, although the track condition was worse than yesterday, I went 2 seconds faster."

Anthony Davidson - car #80

"Basically I'm finding this a very hard discipline, much more than I expected. I know I have to give the car respect and time, but I'm not yet used to the amount of time it takes for the car to respond compared to the BAR F1 I was driving last week. I have to give myself time to adapt and it's getting there, but slowly, which is frustrating. It's been the hardest car for me to adapt to in my career because it is just so different to single seaters. Having said that, I'm very confident it will all come together and we are in a reasonable situation with the car. I think it's good for drivers to try their hand at something new, and I'm having lots of fun so am very glad I'm here."

Jamie Davies - car #88

"'We lost a lot of time yesterday with a misfire which has now been cured. Today we tried some different set up changes, but I'm actually happier with the balance we ended up with yesterday. We had a few small problems, like getting the belts right for all three of us and the direction of the cooling ducts in the cockpit but these can all be addressed."

Tomas Enge - car # 88

"Today wasn't a good day and neither was yesterday. It was traffic, traffic and more traffic which I really didn't like. We made some changes today though which we will all discuss this evening, but I felt we were beginning to move forward."

Peter Kox - car #88 (set 4th fastest GTS time today with 2m 01.347)

"We have a lot of new things this year at Sebring, not just us drivers who are finding out about new team mates, but also new mechanics and new engineers. Each day we improve, but it naturally takes time for it all to gel together. We are all focussing on the job though, and I'm reasonably happy with the time we set considering it was on old tyres. There are still some improvements to come and it will be very close in the GTS class so we can't afford any mishaps."

Darren Turner - car #80

"Yesterday was a lot better than today as we were luckier with clear laps - something we didn't get today. We made some changes to the car today and found the direction we need to move in for tomorrow. Not having as much experience in sportscars as Kelvin, I've found the different approach to sharing track time and having relatively few laps each quite difficult to adapt to. It's a bit frustrating but we are getting there as each day goes by.

"I've never experienced a track like Sebring before! I'm sure by the end of the week I will be able to enjoy driving here but at the moment it's a bit frantic out there!"
