Robertson Racing has made a solid start to today's Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring presented by Fresh From Florida with the team's Ford GT running inside the top ten after the first four hours.

David Murry, who qualified the car on Friday, started the race and set strong, consistent lap times throughout his one-hour opening stint, before pitting to hand over to David Robertson, who continued the good work aboard the Roush V8-powered machine.

Wife Andrea Robertson has also seen time at the wheel, although her enthusiasm unfortunately resulted in a drive through penalty for speeding in the pit lane.

Andrew "H" Smith, Robertson Racing Team Manager, said: "We settled into a good pace early on without any mechanical issues, although Andrea must have knocked the speed limiter on her way into the pits and we got a drive through penalty. Dave (Robertson) also managed to knock the radio out during his stint, but if they're the only issues we've had then we're doing okay.

"We'll hopefully maintain the same pace over the next few hours. With the temperature being a bit hotter than it has been over the past couple of days, we've now switched to a harder tyre as it was overheating the ones we started on.

"We've seen a few incidents over the first four hours and this race often comes down to a war of attrition, so I'm expecting some more. So long as we're not involved in them we'll be in good shape!"
