Sebring, FL -- Ticket sales are at record levels for the 50th Annual Mobil1 12 Hours of Sebring Presented by Dodge. America's premier sports car race runs Saturday, March 16, at the historic Sebring International Raceway.
"Enthusiasm for this historic event has been building at a phenomenal rate," stated Raceway Director Tres Stephenson. "Our reserved trackside parking is already nearing a sell-out, and many fans from across the country have told us they haven't been to Sebring in years, and are looking forward to attending the 50th Anniversary celebration."
The opening race of the American Le Mans Series (ALMS) at Sebring will be a key prelude to the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France. The winning team at Sebring the past three years has gone on to win Le Mans.
Gates open Wednesday, March 13, for four-days of world-class road racing. Sebring Supertickets (both 4-day and Saturday-only tickets) are available at advance purchase rates (a savings of $10 per ticket) through March 1st. After that date, gate prices will apply. A limited number of Reserved Trackside Parking/Camping spaces are still available, along with a very limited number of Club Sebring memberships.
The first fan arrived in line at Sebring 65 days before the gates open. By the time the gates open at 7 am on March 13, thousands will be on hand for the four-day event, often called the Mardi Gras of motorsports.
