Farnbacher Loles Racing posted the fastest GT2 class time during Wednesday afternoon practice for the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring. Dirk Werner of Kissenbruck, Germany, lapped the 3.7-mile Sebring (Fla.) International Raceway road course in two minutes 2.594 seconds at an average speed of 108.651 mph. He is sharing driving duty in the No. 87 Porsche 911 GT3 RSR with Marc Basseng of Leutenbach, Germany, and Bryce Miller of Hoboken, N.J.

"Free practice wasn't what we wanted it to be every session, but in the last free practice we showed our car is pretty good on one lap," Werner said. "We put new tires on the car before the last stint. It took me two laps until the tires were the right temperature, but then the car felt good. I don't know if the other teams that ran in front had new tires, too, so you have to keep that in mind when you compare the times.

"I think we will be okay for qualifying. We didn't work on the race setup, but we have a good driver pairing with Bryce and Marc, and with the experience the team has, I'm sure they can prepare a good car for the race. I'm looking forward to my second Sebring ALMS race."
