Law to join Flying Lizard Motorsports for 53rd Annual ALMS Sebring 12-Hour
March 6, 2005 Phoenix, Arizona -- Darren Law will again join Flying Lizard Motorsports to help them tackle the GT2 class field in the 53rd annual American Le Mans Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring. Law, who drove the full 2004 ALMS schedule with the Flying Lizard squad, will be reunited with teammates Johannes van Overbeek and Jon Fogarty for another attempt at the GT2 class crown in this endurance road racing classic that will be held the weekend of March 17-19.
After a competitive 2004 outing at Sebring, and a 2nd place in the 2004 ALMS GT driver's points standings with co-driver van Overbeek, Law is eager to rejoin forces and again pilot the team's #45 eSilicon/ShoreTel Porsche GT3RSR against a field of some 19 GT2 class cars.
"I had a terrific 2004 season with Flying Lizard Motorsport," said Law. "It was especially impressive since the team was new, and now with a year of being able to work together, I think the team will be even more competitive. I'm looking forward to again driving with Johannes and Jon, and I have to thank the Flying Lizard team for giving me the opportunity."
Darren will be wearing driver safety gear from OMP, which is carried by CDOC, carriers of driver and vehicle safety and enhancement equipment. Visit them at CDOC.com.
