This morning (Friday) saw the final opportunity for pre-race practice before the 12 Hours of Sebring commences with Aston Martin Racing's DBR9's starting on the same row in Saturday's grid in 4th and 5th place respectively.

Yesterday evening, with rain having finally subsided, the team concluded the day with a night practice, giving the drivers and the team the opportunity to run in dark conditions. Drivers completed their respective mandatory three laps of Sebring's 17-turn circuit before the session closed.

Team Principal Insight

"Although yesterday's testing was disrupted and I would have liked to see what we could do in formal qualifying, we had a strong morning practice today and having tested here earlier in the year, we have some good experience behind us.

As a team we've made good progress over the course of the week and we're in good shape ahead of the race."

Race Engineer Insights

"Although yesterday's weather wasn't ideal in terms of practice time we were able to use the time to refine some of the smaller details on the car ahead of the race.

"Last night's session offered a good chance to run under dark conditions and we took the opportunity to complete some pit stop practice."
    Dave Wilcock (Car 57)

"We can be really satisfied with the practice this morning - the drivers seem happy with the race setup and we achieved some good lap times.

We're ready for the race and we're looking forward to finally getting underway."
    Jody Egginton (Car 58)
