Sebring, FL -- On track, the 51st running of the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring promises to be among the finest sports car races ever held in North America. Off the track, the March 12-15 event offers a diverse lineup of entertainment and activities.

A special "Tribute to Corvette" display in the paddock will feature several famous Corvettes that have competed at Sebring over the past five decades, ranging from the 1956 GT class winner to the famous 1976 "Spirit of Sebring" Greenwood Corvette.

The American Le Mans Series Driver Autograph Session returns as one of the most popular fan events. It will be held Friday at noon in the Mobil 1 Hospitality tent. All the drivers entered in the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring will be in attendance.

The Hawaiian Tropic Spring Brake Party Zone returns bigger and better than ever this year. A Battle of the Bands, bikini contest and beach volleyball are just a few of the activities planned. The E! Entertainment Television Network will be at Sebring to tape a segment for its "Wild on Spring Break" episode.

Dozens of displays and vendors, vintage racing, a military airplane fly-over and post-race fireworks add to the festival-like Sebring atmosphere.

Over the past three years, Sebring has undergone a dramatic multi-million dollar improvement program. Amenities added this year for fans include showers and a free parking lot located just outside the front entrance, complete with shuttle service to the track. This will enable race fans to park outside the track without having to pay parking fees, yet still enjoy all the action of America's oldest and most prestigious sports car race.

The 65-car entry list represents one of the finest ever at the historic road racing circuit. The once-around-the-clock race was founded in 1952 and annually attracts the world's leading sports car teams.

Gates open on Wednesday, March 12, and remain open 24 hours a day through the running of the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring on Saturday. Advance purchase ticket prices to the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring will remain in effect until March 1. After that date gate prices will apply. To order tickets, race fans can call 800-626-7223.
