Atlanta, GA: Just in time for the most important race of the season, Jason Workman and the Essex Racing Lola-Nissan announce a new sponsor. For the season-ending Petit LeMans event, MergeCare, an Atlanta based corporation, will be the primary sponsor of Workman's entry for the ALMS Petit LeMans event on October 18.

Workman is currently in 4th place in the driver's standings with an "outside" chance of winning the championship. If series leading Chris Dyson fails to score points and Workman wins the LMP675 division, he will clinch the championship in dramatic fashion after a season long battle between reliability and outright speed, the classic duel in endurance racing.

"I'm very pleased to welcome MergeCare as our primary sponsor for this race," commented Workman. "It would be an incredible conclusion to our season if we managed to bring home the championship in this final race. What an introduction to racing it would be for MergeCare! We have been working toward this race for a long time and will do everything we can to win the championship. 2003 has been a fantastic season and I'm excited that MergeCare will be part of the action at the most dramatic race of the year."

MergeCare joins other Workman and Essex Racing sponsors including Macaroni Grill and Pirelli Tires.

About MergeCare: MergeCare is a leader in the eHealthcare industry. MergeCare provides the fastest and most efficient way of processing medical claims. This enables doctors and hospitals to give better care and for patients to receive better care.
