Aston Martin Racing Stops Traffic In Atlanta

Aston Martin Racing brought traffic to a standstill on Tuesday, 26 September when the team paid a visit to the Aston Martin of Atlanta dealership.

Over 300 Aston Martin guests and employees watched on in amazement as the Aston Martin Racing team performed pit stop demonstrations and the Aston Martin Racing drivers lit up the DBR9's tyres on the forecourt of the Roswell dealership.

Both of the team's Aston Martin DBR9s were on display and all four of the Aston Martin Racing drivers, Tomas Enge, Pedro Lamy, Stephane Sarrazin and Darren Turner signed autographs and chatted with guests before taking it in turns to impress the crowd in the number 007 DBR9. John Hindhaugh, the voice of Radio Le Mans, was on hand to compare the evening and to talk to guests about the American Le Mans Series.

Craig Forbes from Aston Martin of Atlanta said: "We had a blast with the team. It was a great opportunity for our customers and employees to meet the team and see the cars up close. The response was overwhelming and we were really pleased that so many people came along. The evening will be a talking point for some time to come."

George Howard-Chappell, Team Principal, Aston Martin Racing said: "The team had a great time at the dealer event, we received a very warm welcome from the guests and the Aston Martin of Atlanta employees and hopefully we gave them a night to remember."
