Darren Law Ready for ALMS Generac 500 at Road America With Alex Job Racing

Endurance racing standout Darren Law, who was recently selected by Alex Job Racing to pilot the team's number 24/ Bell Microproducts /ProVest/Porsche 911 GT3 RSR, will be at the Generac 500 at Road America the weekend of August 19-21. Law of Phoenix, Arizona will be teamed with Ian Baas of Noblesville, Indiana, as they compete in the 7th round of the 2005 ALMS schedule.

With nine top level entries in the GT2 category scheduled to compete at the Generac 500, Law realizes the importance of being with a team of AJR's caliber, and is happy to have some experience at the Road America circuit.

"The competition in the American Le Mans Series is always tough," remarked Law. "You have to look for any advantage you can get, and being in an Alex Job car is a big part of that. I also have been to Road America several times, and I am very comfortable at that track. We'll work hard to get a good set up underneath the car, and hopefully we can have a good run to the finish."

The American Le Mans Series cars take to the track for the Generac 500 for practice beginning at 1:30 PM ET on August 19th. The 2 hour 45 minute race is scheduled to begin at 3 PM ET on August 21st and will be broadcast live on the SPEED channel.
