Road America: Andretti Green Racing race report

Bryan Herta, ...

Bryan Herta, #26 XM Satellite Radio Acura

"It was okay and we actually timed the tire change right on time. The problem is there was some damage to the XM Satellite Radio Acura due to contact Marino had earlier in the race. The steering was bad and the thing was pushing like a dump truck. I couldn't get around the track. I did the best I could."

Marino Franchitti, #26 XM Satellite Radio Acura

"We had a fairly good start and the first restart was very good for us. We made up a couple of places in the laps after that and then, as I was coming through traffic, I had some contact with the GT car. It was very light contact, though, but it broke the steering out a fair bit. I did a few laps to see how the car was and it was drivable but not as good as it had been. We seemed to be maintaining our position and made our first stop but it started raining and had to stop again. Then we just cruised behind the GT car for the better part of an hour (under yellow). When we went back to green in the wet we were really fast. When Bryan (Herta) got in the car, the steering got worse. It's unfortunate because I think the XM Satellite Radio Acura could've been on the podium."
