Baltimore, Maryland - Risi Competizione’s run of bad luck in the American Le Mans Series unfortunately continued today on the streets of Baltimore in Maryland.
Huge crash at the start
At the start of the two-hour race this afternoon there was a multi-car pile-up, triggered by a car in the prototype class, and unfortunately the No.62 Ferrari 458 Italia of Olivier Beretta was one of six GT cars innocently caught up in the ensuing melée. The race was immediately red-flagged.
Risi’s car received substantial damage and will take no further part in the race, and Olivier Beretta thankfully escaped without injury.
