The last ALMS round at the Infineon Raceway, Sonoma, California, was a very difficult race for the No. 51 Panoz Motorsports Eperante GTLM. Some aerodynamic problems, as well as an unfair share of technical problems during practice and race meant that the No. 51 car had a tough weekend and sadly didn't see the chequered flag.

But the good news is that the team have been working hard in the intervening break and all is now looking good for the next round of the ALMS this upcoming weekend in Portland, Oregon.

"The only disappointment for me is that I lose my regular team mate Bryan (Sellers) to the No. 50 sister car because Bill (Auberlen) is racing in a Grand-Am race in Alabama this weekend," said Marino, "but Christophe Tinseau is back with the team and co-driving with me in Portland and he knows the track well. We run into the evening at this event, so it should make for a good race, and I'm looking forward to it".

The Grand Prix of Portland is a Saturday race, that begins at 5.00pm local time, on 30th July. The race is televised live on Speed TV in the US, and for spectators in Europe it can be seen live on Motors TV.
