ANOTHER POLE RUN FOR PECHNIK, LIZARDS IN THE WORKS?

Flying Lizard Motorsports made quite a debut at Mosport in 2004, the California team's first season in the American Le Mans Series. Lonnie Pechnik stunned the GT class with a run to pole position in his first race at Mosport. After running up front for most of the first hour, Pechnik and Seth Neiman finished sixth in a very competitive field.

"We had tested there quite a bit and it was as good a car as I had ever driven," Pechnik said. "It ended up being a fantastic lap. Then I fell on a chair in 2005 and qualifying was rained out last year so I haven't had a chance to back it up. Mosport has always been good to me. It's the best track we race on in my opinion."

Neiman and Pechnik will team again in the No. 44 Flying Lizard entry, one of two Lizard entries in the ninth round of the 2007 season. The Flying Lizards are second in the GT2 team championship behind Risi Competizione and its two Ferrari F430 GTs.
