During the American Le Mans at Mid-Ohio, Friday, June 25 through Sunday, June 27, those serving in any branch of the Armed Forces, both active and reserve, and/or their immediate family members, will receive free admission to the weekend event.
"The servicemen and women of our Armed Forces have given so much to our great country, and it is a privilege to give something back," said Michelle Trueman Gajoch, President of TrueSports, Inc, owner and operator of Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. "Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course wants to show its appreciation to these admirable individuals and their families by providing them with a weekend of great racing on us."

With the green flag scheduled to wave at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon for a 2-hour, 45-minute race, drivers will jockey for both an overall win and a class win in four distinct classes.
"This is a tremendous gesture by Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in appreciation of those who have given and continue to sacrifice so much," said Scott Atherton, President and CEO of the American Le Mans Series. "We are very honored that it will happen at our event."
Adding to the weekend's excitement will be the Speed World Challenge Series, Star Mazda Series, Panoz Racing Series, Formula Ford 2000 Zetec Championship Series, and SCCA Pro Miata Series.
All military and immediate family members are welcome to take advantage of this offer of appreciation. Those wishing to do so, can simply show their military identification card and another picture I.D. at the main gate for free admittance.
