BLACK SWAN'S BLEEKEMOLEN SET TO MAKE ROC DEBUT

Reigning GT Challenge co-champion wins Race of Champions fan voting

Black Swan Racing's Jeroen Bleekemolen is heading to one of motorsport's biggest stages with an entry into this year's Race of Champions in Dusseldorf, Germany. The reigning GT Challenge co-champion with Tim Pappas in the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patron was voted in an online poll to represent The Netherlands in the annual competition that pits racing's best talents against one another in a variety of equally prepared race cars.

This year's ROC is set for November 27-28 on a specially constructed tarmac track with two parallel lanes winding their way round the Dusseldorf arena. The venue can hold more than 50,000 spectators.

Bleekemolen joins a virtual championship honor roll of drivers including eight-time Le Mans 24-Hour race winner Tom Kristensen, multiple F1 world champions Michael Schumacher and Alain Prost, seven-time world rally king Sebastien Loeb, five-time world 500cc motorcycling champion Mick Doohan, X- Games legend Travis Pastrana and 2010 F1 title contender Sebastian Vettel.

Bleekemolen, a two-time champion in the Porsche Supercup and past LMP2 winner at the Le Mans 24 Hours, won the Dutch vote by nearly 4 percent over such names as Tom Coronel and Robert Doornbos. Bleekemolen will race in the ROC for the first time.

"I'm really looking forward to being able to represent my country in The Race of Champions," said Bleekemolen, who won four times in GTC with Pappas to win this year's driver and team championships. "It's an honor to race against such big names of this sport. And of course I want to do really well, especially for all the fans that voted for me!"

Bleekemolen and Bertrand Baguette (who won a similar fan ballot to represent Belgium) -will team together to represent their respective nations which are the two largest nations in the Benelux region in the ROC Nations Cup.
