With only two 1-hour practice sessions during the race weekend, setup time was extremely limited. The team struggled during practice yesterday but made significant changes to the setup of each car and found additional speed for the qualifying session.

Dion spoke about those changes, adding, "Our engineers have done a great job to really improve the car overnight, and both setups were spot on for qualifying. I know that it was one of the best cars that I've ever had in qualifying and I am sure that Spencer would say the same! Considering we had less track time than usual we had to play catch up, but learned a lot very quickly and had a great car today and a great race car for tomorrow."

Spencer elaborated, "My co-driver Nelson has done a great job this weekend as has the Flying Lizard team. The car was decent yesterday but I wasn't able to put a lap together. The changes were a huge improvement though and today's lap was as good as could be across the board. I'm very proud of the team and the results we achieved today, hopefully we can continue at the same level tomorrow."

The 2013 Orion Energy Systems 245 gets the green flag at 2:00pm CDT on Sunday, August 11th. The race will be broadcast live in the United States on ABC from 2:00pm to 5:00pm CDT and online on ESPN3.com and ALMS.com.
